From the intimate revelation of her partner's struggles with pornography in college to the inception of a full-fledged mission to help others, Sara's path has been a purposeful one. Her academic background in recreational therapy and business sense propelled her towards life coaching. However, it wasn't until she began to delve into the complexities of unwanted porn use that she recognized the potential for wider impact.

Despite the slower-than-anticipated progression, the rebrand focuses on authenticity, ensuring every team member is aligned with the mission before its launch.

Removing Stigma and Shame

Perhaps one of the most notable aspects of Sara's work is her dedication to removing stigma. She reveals her discovery of the direct correlation between shame and binging behaviors in the context of pornography. Thus, her programs concentrate on handling the underlying emotional struggles, reinforcing integrity and control, and fostering a shame-free environment.

Scaling Impact

Bringing her expertise and the Rebecca Peterson Studio strategic branding know-how to a wider audience, Sara initiated the "Overcome Pornography For Good" program. Since its launch, the program has welcomed over 1200 students, marking a transition from one-on-one coaching to scalable group sessions – a reinvention that allows Sara to transform her mission into a movement.
