OBJECTIVES

Melanie had worked for many years as a technical consultant for multi-million dollar businesses, developing software and automating internal systems. She founded Melden Tech to offer her technical expertise to entrepreneurial coaches and consultants and wanted a Rebecca Peterson Studio to create a professional brand and website that would reflect her experience in the field of systems, strategy, and sales.

 

OUTCOME

In developing Melden Tech's brand, we worked together to define Melanie's unique vision and expertise as a systems strategist and automation expert. We created an in-depth client profile and distinct brand persona to make her marketing easy and effective. With the completed brand strategy, I designed a sophisticated visual brand that reflected Melanie's personal style, her technical background, and appealed to her feminine audience. This project was an incredible opportunity to take a strong idea and turn it into an iconic brand that would inspire everyone involved.

Brand Strategy + Brand Design

The Brand Strategy for Melden Tech was centered on the idea of eliminating "tech stress" for coaches and consultants. So many entrepreneurs can DIY their website/systems at the beginning, but get stuck when their business needs more sophisticated solutions. Melanie and her team are dedicated to providing the technical expertise needed so coaches can return to what they do best: serving their clients with empathy and ease.

In creating Melanie's brand strategy and design, we wanted to establish a very feminine, luxe message and aesthetic that would counter the traditional "tech consulting" vibe her brand had before. Using a warm tone and jargon-free language, we positioned Melden Tech as a source of relief for coaches and consultants trying to do everything on their own. Once the brand strategy was complete, we created an editorial-style visual identity (logo, color palette, font styles, etc) inspired by other lifestyle products, designed to transform your life and business from the inside out.

Design Note

The objective of the Melden Tech brand design was to create something that would allude to the seamless system Melanie and her team build for their clients without looking like a technology brand. I took inspiration from skincare and beauty brands because these industries have mastered the art of speaking to both external and internal transformations, a theme I wanted to carry over into the tech space. It represents not just a product, but a lifestyle choice—merging beauty, functionality, and empowerment. We emphasized the points of connection with a sparkle to suggest a luxurious and world-class client experience.

Brand Application

In the process of expanding Melanie's brand to various applications, we wanted to maintain the brand's core design while adding versatility depending on the channel. We designed a set of business cards, social media templates, as well as the lead magnet used on Melanie's website, "The Ultimate Customer Experience to Attracting Your Perfect Clients and Skyrocketing Your Coaching Business."

Website Design & Development

The last step of the Melden Tech rebrand was a new website. We worked together to create a comprehensive site map with primary and secondary objectives as well as basic-on page SEO and copywriting that would lead website visitors to the desired call to action, which was to take a quiz and determine the right system or service for you. We designed the site to match with the warm, organized, "We've got this" design of her brand. Our goal was to simplify Melanie's offerings and truly connect with her ideal client. We developed the custom website on Showit and made edits to optimize the mobile, tablet, and desktop versions of the design.

WEBSITE OBJECTIVES

  • Establish credibility for Melden Tech as a brand authority and industry expert in systems and sales.
  • Encourage coaches to apply for a specific service by taking the "Which Service is Right for You?" Quiz.
  • Drive sign ups for the lead magnet,"The Ultimate Customer Experience to Attracting Your Perfect Clients and Skyrocketing Your Coaching Business."
